Our work
Proof, not promises.
Platforms that are live, programmes that are running, and ventures we built with our own money. Here's what "we stay until it runs" actually looks like.
Client work
Built, launched, and still running.
EcoTraining Online Learning Platform
The digital campus of Africa's leading safari guide and nature training school. A full LearnDash platform build — course architecture, enrolment and payment flows, assessments, certificates and progress tracking — plus course production and the go-to-market engine to fill it.
Inside the Pride — with Dr Paul Funston
A masterclass on lion conservation with one of the world's foremost lion scientists. Concept, production and launch — turning deep field expertise into a course that holds a general audience without diluting the science.
Junior Rangers
An online nature adventure that turns children into young conservationists — interactive missions, audio storytelling and outdoor challenges that get kids off the screen and into the garden. Designing for eight-year-olds is a genuinely different craft, and one we love.
Sanctuary Guide Training Programme
On-site guide training and development reporting across Kenya, Tanzania, Botswana, Namibia and Zambia for Abercrombie & Kent's Sanctuary Retreats. Standards set in the field, assessed in the field, and reported back so the business can act on them.
AI-powered learning academy
Scoping and designing a next-generation professional learning academy for a leading South African financial services group — where AI-assisted production makes it possible to build and maintain far more content than a traditional academy ever could.
Courses and platforms built for clients remain proudly their intellectual property — our craft, their brand.
What learners say
The best review of a platform is the one left by someone who used it.
These are reviews of EcoTraining courses, left by their students on Trustpilot. We designed the learning, built the platform, produced the content and ran the technical support behind them.
"So much dedication and care went into developing this amazing course. Every part added value… a huge thank you to Richard for presenting and to Bianca for administering and coordinating the course."
Jenny Botes Trustpilot · Online Birding Enthusiast Course"The online courses are well designed, featuring two lectures a week, a summary of the course, and additional resources such as videos and a bibliography. Regular quizzes help students to retain the key content."
Patrick & Valérie H. Trustpilot · France"Just the right length, with very detailed, helpful, well-organized presentations! … Total value for money."
Lara Burger Trustpilot · Online Birding Enthusiast Course"The support from the team was great, especially when we experienced a glitch, or had a question. I certainly learnt a lot."
Patti Legg Trustpilot · Online Birding Enthusiast CourseReviews are of EcoTraining and its presenters — quoted here with the parts relating to course design, platform and support. Ratings reflect EcoTraining's overall Trustpilot profile.
Our own ventures
Where we put our own money.
Luna Hounds
Our own venture, built from the ground up and running today — brand, product, systems, market. The proving ground for everything we recommend to clients.
ReDesign
Hands-on support for a young entrepreneur building a design business — positioning, pricing, client process, and the confidence to charge properly.
Freelance delivery teams
Specialist freelancers brought together into delivery teams — new revenue streams for them, senior talent without a senior payroll for our clients.
Where the standard was set
If the vision is bold, build the pier.
moyo uShaka & Fashion by the Sea.
Long before She Leads Ventures, Bianca was operating partner of the moyo uShaka pier in Durban — a 600-seater on the beachfront, with a glass-encased bar reaching 150 metres into the sea, the first of its kind in the country.
Then came her own idea: a fashion show on a catwalk reaching over the Indian Ocean, where every single guest had a front-row seat. She connected the right people, and Fashion by the Sea put South Africa's top designers — Gavin Rajah among them — on a runway above the water. It grew into an annual Durban fashion event.
That show is long past. But it set the standard everything since has been built to.
